Using a buyer's agent to purchase a new 2015 Honda Fit.

As background, I am located in FL and I was able to secure a price that fit my budget, but there's a catch - every color is available to purchase except white, which is the only color I want.

The agent said that there are no new white 2015's in Florida as of this moment as they are in high demand and that shipment would take a while as the Fits are made in Mexico and not in Japan.

Do I have anywhere else to look? I feel like I'm missing something here.

 

Supply is drying up as the Mexican plant is now concentrating on HRV production so the only cars out there are either on the lots or in transit. The '16 Fit will be out in September or so and the rumblings from Honda is that 40K vehicles will be brought in from Japan. A lot of us are biding our time waiting for those to arrive.

Here in SoCal the inventories seem to be heavy on 6MT models. White cars are available but not in the quantities we have seen in the last few months.
