Does anyone know where to find information about the manufacturing of specific Honda parts?

I'd like to know whether the same manufacturer that produced Honda Fit spring coils for example, might have also produced the spring coils for another vehicle including other brands (which might have been recalled or investigated).

It's all part of my effort to collect as much info as possible regarding my recently snapped spring coils.

Would appreciate any insights you may have to share.

That's a great question. Nobody seems to know the answer. Honda Canada response has been deplorable.

Both front coils snapped in same location. I suspect both the same evening because I heard the noise twice. However, I only managed to find one of the pieces so I can't be sure.

Any reasonable explanation other than the defective part?
Have you hit any pothole, towed the car, overloaded it? Any repair done or modifications?
