Ticking noise comes and goes on rear door.

Lately I have a ticking (clicking) sound that comes and goes from the rear door. Seems like it's coming near the rear wiper blade area, rear window. It usually happens for 5-10 minutes when I first start up the car and when I'm idling at a light. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the black garnish panel with the Honda emblem on it, claiming it was warped, but it is still doing it! It happens during the day, which leads me to believe something plastic is warped and the sun beating down on it causes the sound. Has anyone else experienced this or got any advice to give me on what it might be?

Is it a CVT? Manual?

It might be the back licence plate. Try put plastic under it and screw the 4 screws(is that correct english, i dunno) That might be the problem. There is be under the seats. Go with a light guy with mobility and ask him to try t isolate the noise.

I have a CVT

Think I may have found it!! Went out and sat in the back while pulling the rear door shut. The area where the hinge is started making the snapping sound as I would close the door. I'm quite certain it's the hinge. If anyone else has this problem, check your hinges they could be bad!

Anyone else have a bad hinge?
