I need to help a friend buy a 2007 Fit. Are there any typical wear items or problem areas to look for on the first gen when we check it out? Links, articles, or TSBs appreciated.

 

Pull off the roof moldings and check for any signs of cracking. Those cracks could allow water to drip in.

Easiest place to look is from the hatch and look directly below the roof moldings.

That and coil packs... GD3 factory coil packs were fairly shotty. Honda released an updated coil pack later, its recommended to replace the entire set of them.
