Due to the government regulations in India, the Honda Jazz won’t get the 1.5-litre unit in India. Instead, the car will be offered with a 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine and the 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel unit, also seen in the Amaze. This will be the first time Honda will offer the Jazz with a diesel engine, as the i-DTEC unit hadn’t been launched when the previous car was in production.
I got the same with my 6 MT using the Torque app... quarter was 19 and change seconds.. I have no idea how Car and Driver got a 16.2 quarter.... Perhaps the Torque app isn't that accurate...

If you can see, it ran with 0.5g in the beginning and 4000-6000 rpm later. And the speed data came from Vbox sport connected with the app. 11.6s from 0-100km/h.
Really need more practice. But don’t know how to get better.

It’s a 1.5L 96KW engine in my Fit. The only thing different is the gears. Only 5 gears and takes about 4000 rpm to run at 120km/h. But it still go to 180km/h with 6000 rpm. I don’t know how it works...
Lol..get a MT. Should be able to 60 in about sub-8?
That’s why I bought it. I think there is a long way to go. Acceleration vs. Speed. Easy to see what I had done in the test. The app draw a speed curve. Actually it came from Vbox, exactly enough.
You have the lower-output engine (1.2L?). I got 7.5 seconds with my CVT in S1. Preloaded the torque converter and let it shift itself as it approached redline.
