Picking up my 2017 Fit EX in February. In watching videos of the car, I kept noticing a circular cutout above the passenger side fog light. What is it for?
And while I am at it, what does "GK" mean in many of these posts?

GK refers to the third generation Fit. (GE is the 2nd gen and GD is the 1st gen.)

I don't know about the circular cutout but I wonder if it's for a tow-hook?

 

That circular cutout flips away so you can attach your metal tow hook, currently beside your jack and spare tire. I asked this same question at my dealer.

 

LMAO!!!!! Thanks for making me go down to the basement garage at 01:00 a.m. to check it out, TBoy I knew the purpose of the cutout (towhook) but never have noticed the actual piece sitting in the foam holder. I learned something today....my work is done
