Junior40er's First track event
 

and I decided to go to Willow Springs Streets of Willow. Saw a Fit there as well. I tracked my Supercharged NSX but also took the Fit to carry passengers, tents and coolers. Saw a Fit there that did a session as well.

Here are some pics from that day. I managed a 1:36.5 on my last session and think keeping my position against a Vette Z06 and M3 pushed me to that. But I know with experience and better brakes I can shave some more of that. :)
Other than boiling brake fluid causing me to lose ALL preassure and temp going up past half mark a tad it handled great and know I know the weak spots for my car in this track.

Next few pics shows me and a Z06 (instructor driver) and a BMW M3 trying to chase me down. After 3 laps I held my spot until I pulled off due to brakes getting hot. Will will also see couple shots of Keith in his Miata as all 3 of us are passing on the straights.

I let car cool for a minute but thats where I decided to just pull in for the day and good thing I did, brakes were toast.

Oh you ran CCW first time out, i'm jealous, I never got to run CCW.

I can imagine that config being hard on the brakes, turn one onto the skidpad must be a hell of a time (if that skidpad is still bumpy as hell haha)

Thanks man. Yeah, it was hard on brakes. I lost all my breaks on last lap actually. Luckily I realied that before the final stretch.
