Hi! Just hosting a little meet/cruise thing next weekend and figured I'd post here to see if some Fits want to come join in too. Feel free to post on there or on FF and let me know if you can come!
The fourth one already… This will be fun I rather enjoyed the humble little burger joint, so let’s make it there again. Parking is a little cramped, but there is a parking lot in the rear too, so we can wrap around the whole place. So we’ll meet, talk cars, eat. Then after, cruise up through some pretty mountain roads. We’ll caravan to Chevron for a last minute fill-up, and then go through Chapman over to Silverado Canyon. After if anyone is still hungry for more driving, we can go to Oasis Car Wash and end it there!

1. Let’s meet at Apollo at 2pm. And plan to stick around, talk, and eat till 5pm then roll out.
2pm-5pm : Apollo Burgers - 12012 Chapman Ave, Garden Grove, CA 92840


2. Begin our cruise all the way up Chapman till we reach Chevron, we’ll stick around there until 6pm then leave for some canyon driving.
5:30pm-6pm : Chevron – 8544 E Chapman Ave, Orange, CA 92869


3. Cruise up to Calvary Chapel of Canyons and arrive around 6:30pm, we’ll wait for everyone to group up here, then cruise up and down the road. Be mindful of speed and pedestrians!
6:30pm-7pm: Calvary Chapel of Canyons - 8002 Silverado Canyon Road, Silverado, CA 92676


4. Then if anyone is STILL down to cruise, we can take the fwy over to Oasis Car Wash and clean off all the rainwater from this week!

I have a question I posted on this site that perhaps one of you guys might be able to answer, so I'll swing by and meet you guys for the first time. Apollo Burgers is a great joint. By the way, there's a Facebook invite to a jam at Doheny's tonight from 8 PM to 2 AM, with some great local bands playing. Doheny's is at Haster & Chapman by the Chevron station. I need to work a radio shift from 8-10, so I can't cruise, but I hope to meet you all for a good time at Apollo's.

 

It was nice meeting some of you guys at Apollo's! If any of you are artists such as poets or musicians, check out the Tuesday Night Project every 1st & 3rd Tuesday from April through October! Maybe some artist might be interested in featuring your car in a music video? You never know!
