We are currently building a 2015 Honda Fit to be displayed at the Honda booth during SEMA this year. We have lots of prototype parts we'll be testing and the car will get the full Spoon treatment. We are inviting the public to preview the progress on the car and talk about what we have planned for it.

full Spoon treatment eh? Does that include flywheel and clutch? Im interested in knowing if they can be transferable to GE fits.

Since this is a new tranny, drivetrain parts can't be retrofitted from previous or other models so they will need to be developed and tested.

 

There are plenty of GE8 parts available, unfortunately the body isn't a simple conversion so many JDM parts can't be used on USDM cars. Luckily this time around our chassis is relatively the same as the JDM model so if/when parts come out, there's a higher chance they'll work on USDM models.

 

Oh ill be here for sure. Can't wait to come visit again. Gotta bring the s2k though as the FIT hasn't shown up yet.

 

I would be interested in going. Sounds fun.
