California Intake
 

So I have been looking to try to get a cold air intake, and I found one that looks promising by AEM (part no. 21-748C), but when you go to search it for the 2017 fit (which I have) it says that it is illegal in California, but when you go to search it for the 2016 fit, it says it is legal in California. Could anyone tell me the difference between the 2016 and 2017 fit and would the 2016 intake work on my 2017? Or if you have other recommendations for intakes legal in California or other upgrades for future reference I would like to hear some of those too? Thank you!!!!

page was last reviewed June of 2016, my guess is they have not updated the list to include 2017 and 2018 models.... OR Aem has to work their magic and register newer models. you could simply contact Aem, and ask nicely

In regards to legal intakes for CA, AFAIK, only Aem has that .... so the limits your choices
