2016 mileage?!?

So i got the lx 2016 a week ago now and i find that i use more gas then my old 2013. Any one experiencing this? I gazed it up used it the next day driving not even 10 mins i got down a line now today im down 4 lines and i barely used it. My 2013 did way better mileage but the dealership told me that the newer models are better on mileage which is clearly a lie. Does the econ even help? Ive used it and saw no difference?

The new models are better on MPG. I'd run a tank or two before you get worried. The real-time display is usually 1-2 higher than actual. We've averaged 35-37mpg (US) in 1.5 years mixed city/highway in the CVT.

What is your lit/100km average? I'm averaging between 7-8 litres/100KM. I usually go over 400km per tank in the city. About 550 on the hiway. I have a 2016 Fit EXL NAVI

So i put gas in it within not even 5 mins of driving it i went down a line then the line would come back and go away again it did that all day then i went down two lines just going 15-20 mins somewhere my 2013 the line never went down like that

Not unexpected. There are other threads here about the non-linearity of the GK gas gauge. It drops quickly at the full end, and reads empty even when there are a couple gallons left in the tank.

Has Honda release a statement on something about what they will do to fix this issue? This is beyond annoying to show the wrong amount of gas left.

Can you link me thag thread I can't seem to find it?!?

When my gas light comes on, I put about 8.5 gallons in. That means there's upwards of 2 gallons left. The gas gauge is pretty useless if you're trying to use it to measure the actual volume of the tank.

Well i sont think the line should go down when i drive it for 5 mins i feel like my 2013 did better mileage
