Texas Fit Meet 2008

Austin
Pro: Great place to drive and everyone has the best time down 6th street after hours. It's located in the best looking part of Texas & is the Capital of Lone Star State.
Con: Not much other than it will take everyone a while to get there. No matter if your from Dallas, Houston or Corpus Christi, everyones far from Austin (except those who are blessed enough to live there).

Houston
Pro: Huge population of Fit owners (may not all be on here). Would be the greatest thing in the world to meet at the AutoX events I go to.
Con: Not much to see. I'm stuck here most of the time. Alot more miles for those comming from the North West of Texas.

So I invite you to put in your opinion on when and WHERE we should gather. I would like the later part of January myself, but I know I don't speak for everyone.

Hey I'm down in station in San Antonio mom's lives in Houston and like 2hrs from Austin I think doesn't matter.

Sup Loza! I thought I might see you at the SE Starbucks meet last Friday but you didn't show. I was trying to find out when and where everyone from here wants to have a Fit meet and then post it up on H-I. I wouldn't mind having it in Houston but I would rather have it in Austin. BUT... if we did have it in Houston, we must attend the SCCA autoX event at the Gulf Greyhound Park!

Yea Ive been MIA lately...lol. But Ill be at the FIT meet. I dont mind if its in Austin but it will be cool to have it in Houston. Theyres plenty of places to have it in Houston. We could meet up at a place were we can eat, after that we can cruise and take some pics..Just throwing out some ideas..

honestly, i'm free any saturday unless something comes out. i cant really tell right now, but i dont work weekends and no classes on weekends either.

I would suggest a Sunday for me since I work on Sat.. lol but.. maybe the first week of the year?

Sunday would be cool. But the first week of the year I think is a little soon for most folks. Man you have a lot of post on here. If Austin becomes final, how about you set it up for us with a place to meet/greet, drive, and eat?

Well, we first need to decide on the City, I vote Austin.. its CENTRAL to texas.. however I do know there are alot of ppl in Houston. As far as a location, I have no idea.. there was a parking garage they had an RSX meet a few weeks ago, at the 360 and mopac intersection. From there they went on a cruise
