I think I'm going to make a trip out of it, and take the wife and kid. I plan to head up on Thursday afternoon, and spend Friday checking out some of Nashville's attractions and famous dining establishments. If anyone else is heading up from the southeast on Thursday, let me know, and I'll put together a caravan route.

 

I'm heading up Thursday as well if you want to meet up.

 

After a good bit of thought and discussion, my wife and I decided to drop our son off at the in-laws in Chattanoga on the way up.

Mark Walter: Looks like we'll head up Friday from Atlanta... Are you planning on driving all the way from FL to Nashville Thursday, or would you stop in Atlanta Thursday night?

 

I was actually planning on going early Thursday morning and was thinking we could meet up in Atlanta or GA somewhere along the way. But I have a friend in Atlanta that I could possibly stay with that night and we could leave Friday morning. If you and who ever else ends up joining us would rather leave Friday I'm down with what ever.

 

Well I can stay in Atlanta for sure now. Soooo you decide what you want to do I guess because I don't mind going all the way up Thursday. I'm prob going to stop in Atlanta anyways to say hey soooo no big deal either way.

Just a heads up for hotels. Close hotels to the track are nice, but there is nothing to do out that far. You could stay closer to downtown Nashville and have a further drive to the track or you can stay close to the track and have a further drive to everything else to do in downtown Nashville. We usually stay closer to downtown so we have more options on what to do. It's even a good idea to take a taxi in if you plan on drinking.

 

Idk if you guys are down for jumping off cliffs an shit, but my buddy that lives like five mins from the meet is taking me and a bunch of doods to the cliffs. if anyone wants to join I'm sure he wouldn't mind showing everyone else.

Heyo guys. I forgot what hotel i was stayin at, my friends booked it already n i forgot the name, but i think its comfort inn. Anywhoss... ill be there in my red fit n my buddy is rockin the white one there also. It would be cool to meet up at the stadium to roll in together like u said mark, is that still gonna go down?
