I did install the winker shell. I have videos on it too on my youtube channel. I feel the relay is the best option since the EX USDM does not have any provisions for the heated mirrors or winkers. It will all have to be done externally from the OEM harness. The winker wiring though I did wire it to the rear taps instead of the front ones through the firewall.

Following your guide and part numbers for a heated mirror install on the EX, and i was curious :

Did you ever install the side blinker shell?
Did you ever figure out an easier way to wire into the car a bit cleaner (like existing spots in connectors, etc) or do you feel your wire to the relay was still the best?
