Talking This Armor All video

<span class="prx_author"></span>

The YouTube video^^^

Ok, first of all, if AA is "really" serious about this product, atleast have someone who knows how to wax a car properly doing the commercial. Honestly, have any of you ever applied wax onto a car like that, using a microfiber to wipe/rub out in one motion.....me either

Secondly, the acting by the girl....horrible (but damn hott lookin'!!!), not to mention playing up to a stereo type, not good PR there AA but then again this is coming from a company that basically cornered the market on tire shine for decades, really and is now considered by me, a VERB, let me explain. Kleenex is a brand of facial tissue, but when you ask for one you always say KLEENEX. Nowadays, when your detailing your car, you might say "hey, let me finish by "armor all-ing" the tires, ok? Noone uses AA on their tires anymore, well, except Unique Whips and well, look where that show is now....exactly!

Finally, "sex sells" they say, well, again, not going to work here either! I'm a balding guy myself, although not a lead scientist for AA but just because I used this product doesn't mean I expect a caliente' lookin' girl to grab my ass after I'm done with the car having used AA "butt"er smooth wax, did you guys catch that towards the end of the video BTW, the prop for the bird dropping, she's pretty skilled at using that thing too!!!

Unbelievable!!! What's to be said - From her first line to smelling the woodpeckers butt, good looking or not, a typically stereotyped 21st Century female and a wimpy guy wiping ugly colored cars. Never liked AA products and this tells me why. Put the stuff on your dash and you'll spend years trying to get it off and keep the inside of the windscreen free of 'fog'.... they should be ashamed.

Well, I think the whole idea behind the product is you don't apply it like regular waxes.

It's definently meant to compete with Turtle Wax Ice which also doesn't haze and is clear.

I don't know about the product. But I don't like the commercial. Not very demonstrative of the product. Both of them can't act, and I hate wax or polish commercials where they take already clean, pristine vehicles and show me "nothing". Did you see a scratch removed? Were you impressed by the protective qualities? Who sat in development and thought a few squirts of water, literally a touch of dust, and a "choke the bird" joke was a good way to demonstrate a wax?

Doesn't make me want to buy it.

I know "back in the day" AA had the rep of ruining people's dashes with their products, making them brittle, I wonder if this is true? What I know is true is this, I don't want my dash looking like the sun, therefore I use stuff like Mequiars natrual protectant for the dash and trim. I honestly can't say when's the last the time I bought a bottle of AA anything

The video should've been a little more "professional" IMO

the main thing that WTF'ed me was that they never zoomed in whenever they applied the shit on the car, especially when they were doing the "scratch" removal and they didnt bother to show it. whats more? they wont let people comment in their post on this site in case someone actually used it. scam much? Mother's + wax ball all the way.

I didn't see a rump on her, so I'm going to see if she's got the "jeans"...urrr genes

I like Meguiars NXT 2.0 but the commercial should've been done alot better for a company that's got the money to do much, much better. Oh well, they'll go by the way of Turtle Wax, Blue Coral and Rain Dance (yeah, I'm old enough to remember those!)

I'd be willing to do a commercial for them but just for the money but I know this, I'd be alot more convincing for sure!
