GD3 Brake Bleed Order

Hey Guys,

Been about 7 years since I been on here. Getting my GD3 back to road worth state and re doing all the fluids and the brakes.

I cannot recall the order to bleed the brake system and I tried searching online for the order. Most cars you do it from the furtherst from the master cylinder, but some cars are weird and the furthest wheel from teh master cylinder isn't always the longest brake line. Do we bleed furtherst from the master for this model, or is it one of those crazy cars?

Would I be bleeding:

1. Passenger rear
2. Driver rear.
3. Passenger front.
4. Driver front?

Honda specifies starting at the left front wheel then working clock wise (right. front, right. rear, then left rear).

Try at your own risk but I find that using a 32 ounce Gatorade or Powerade bottle with a clear rubber hose submerged in brake fluid works great for brake fluid bleeds/replacements when you don't have an assistant. This method reduces the chances of air being sucked back in via the bleeder screw hole during brake pedal release.

Assuming you sucked out all the existing brake fluid from the reservoir tank and refilled with fresh fluid first, you can bleed each front caliper with 20 presses (refiling after each corner) and 10 presses for each drum or rear disc if converted.

Looking at doing the brakes finally on my GD3. Haven't worked on her in a very long time. I cannot recall the torque specs for the caliper bolts, slider pins and the rotors. Doing pads and rotors. I know the wheels are 80 foot pounds, but I cannot recall the specs for the rotors and calipers Can anyone provide those specs?

edit:

79 ft lbs for caliper bolts to knuckle.
17 ft lbs for caliper bolts.
