I did hit it with some "Slick" which helped, I found the trick was to work it longer. BTW Ken, I bought some of the Clarity, gonna try it out tomorrow!

sounds good, you're going to love that stuff (Clarity). you did get
the DP glass MF towels with it, right? those towels are awesome.

unlike griot's glass MF towels, there is absolutely no lint wash after wash.
for some reason griot's MF gets lint. i wash MF separately from everything
else, hangdry, etc.

detailing

Learned a lot from Autogeek and Autophia web sites on the best ''damage free '' products and tecniques to use. What ever is our favorite stuff to smear all over our paint, it can really be screwed up with the wrong tools. I've been using the best micro-fiber or wafleweave wash mits, rags and applicators I can afford. Sure can see the difference between other vehicle's paint with swirls and fine-line scatches when the sun hits 'em. Guess it depends on how particular we are but I don't think doing this stuff the proper way is really any harder or time consuming. After we take time to learn, as with anything, it gets easier and more fun!

Autopia is a great site to learn about detailing. You have to watch yourself though and not get caught up in buying every new product that comes out. I told one of the guys I work with about Autopia and he's hooked, haha.

On a side note, I switched back to the Menzerna Intensive Polish and it's soooo much nicer to work with!

i bought the griot's master care kit which comes with a dvd and pretty
much a fail-safe system when i started out.

its very easy to use, not so many products you need to remember,
and not expensive at all. yes, it will cost you some $ when you start
out, but the products last a long time.

they also do local seminars where you can ask the specialists any
specific questions. last year they had one locally at a Ferrari dealer
and it was fun. took my wife and kids.

hey finally got that new red bucket from Griot's. it's waaay nicer than the
previous yellow one you see in my pict. the yellow only has one grill where
as the red has 2 grills inside and also a built-in measuring cup for shampoo.

Nice rig for your detailing supplies!! I just throw mine on a shelf in the garage. Now I know what to ask for for Father's Day.

Yeah I really like the cart! Very awesome. Anyways, I use a full line of turtle wax ice and I have to say it takes half the time of my normal waxes and comes out just as good! "Stop waxing, and start Icing!" - Turtle
