power surge/short? 08 sport

well i put it in this section because its "fix it yourself" -shrugs- not a DYI of any sort :P

ive been having this "problem" for a long time, probably since i bought it. I noticed that the lights dim for about 2 seconds, i notice it dimmed, but i don't see it coming back to its orginal brightness. probably because its so slow you don';t even notice it. but my point is, its still dimming, wtf? and it happens everyday when i drive. i also noticed, when i have the hood up and adjusting the angle of the lights ( ) i hear some kind of whirring when the lights dim. and no, the whirring is not for two seconds. this is when i have the car started alreadi and its alreadi warm, like after a 15-30 minute drive. I just want to know, is this normal? i never had this issue on the honda pilot. -shrugs- normal? not normal? can i fix it?

its probably your radiator or AC cooling fan. there is no fix for it because there is no problem with it.

how bout an upgrade? a better battery or somewhat? it is small after all...

solbrothers 02-27-2009 11:56 PM

just remove your cooling fans. that will solve the the issue

Fans come on. They make the sound you are hearing and then lights go dim due to power used for fans. Perfectly normal. Dont sweat it.
