p1157 Engine code .. HELP PLEASE!!!1
 
whats up guys? well..this morning when i startup the engine the cel come in...i scan it and it show this code... p1157 Air Fuel ratio A/F (Sensor 1) line high voltage.... what i have to do? anyone with this problem? a friend told me that i have to replace the first o2 sensor... what do you guys say?

just unplug the battery for 5 minutes and plug it back in and start up your car. this typically will reset the ecu and your code will probably go away.

are you running a cat delete? if so you might want to look into a mechanical o2 fix.

i already do it.... chek engine come again... i think i need to buy a new o2 sensor...

Im in the same boat the cheapest i found it for is $178 with shipping = ( dont use the car mine idle's super rich at 13.2 and accelerating and driving runs at 17 if afr if not not more I fixed it for now using the F/ic but we need that sensor.

^^^ thats bad bro... i dont have any wideband gauge that show me how rich or lean i am.. i just dont push the pedal to hard..... i hate that she swallow a lot more of gas....

but where do you found it in that price?

Just a note...don't be temped to go cheap on the o2 sensors. Use OEM or Denso brand.

Those who have gone to other brands have NOT been happy....:( and usually end up replacing the sensor again anyway.

i had that same thing on my accord. just gotta buy a new OEM one cause the non OEM ones just don't seem to work as good
