How does one "repair" Carbon Fiber?
I recently purchased a Carbon Fiber Hood and thanks to the wonderful people at Fed-Ex, one of the ends were frayed minimalistically.
However, a stitch in nine saves time, and I don't want this minimal fray to turn into some horrendous nightmare in the future. Does anyone know of any products or treatments I could use to patch this up? Autozone and other car merchandise stores told me Epoxy wouldn't hold as well as carbon-fiber would be too "slick". Any insight into my dilemma is much appreciated. |
Lay some resin on there to seal it up.
