51R Battery in my Fit?

So i've been having a few days recently where big blue just wont fire up. I've had to boost it a couple times now, so me and my brother figure its the battery (especially after reading around on them) and my dad just thinks i didnt have the block heater plugged in (or i had the timer wrong for it since he doesnt want it running 24/7)
anyways, i'm looking for to change it out, all i hear is that the stock ones arent great, and those are the only ones i can get directly from Honda i think. Its not on warranty anymore, and since im in Canada where winters are cold, I want something reliable. My closest Honda dealer is charging about $110 (CAN$) for the battery.
I've heard that 51R batteries can be used? Is this true? will it be harder to install than a 151R? and will i have to remove the battery tray since its bigger? i dont know much about cars so this is new to me and i don't wanna screw up, but my bro can help me install the new battery cuz hes done it before.

anyways, i'd appreciate some help.
its a 2007 Fit LX

thanks!

Odyssey batteries have a reputation for exceptional reliability (built to military endurance specifications). They aren't cheap, but mail order can help.
