can't find proper serpentine belt
 

My 2007 Fit (base model, NO A/C) needs serpentine belt. Ordered one from one of the big parts traders but it ended one being too long for my car lacking AC. A call to a dealership helped me finding the part number: 31110-RME-C01, but I just hate paying 120$ for a belt. Google search just pointed to one Russo-Japanese website, and I am a bit afraid of ordering one from there. There should be a solution, please help me find the part.

On Autozone.com I find two lengths of belt listed. One is 45 inches an the other is 36.5 inches. Here is an AZ listing for a Dayco number for a 36.5" 8 rib belt.

I also see listings for a 5 rib and a 7 rib belt. You need to look at yours and see what you have for length and ribs.

I wonder what the specs (length) are for 31110-RME-A01.
The other one is questionable also. I can, of course, take the old one off and measure it, but it won't be accurate since its extremely worn, plus, I don't have those hours to take it off, put it back on, then do it again etc.

Update: no, 31110-RME-A01 is for air-conditioned models.

Yeah man I looked EVERYWHERE online yesterday and could only find "A" belt, there's no option anywhere to choose model without A/C which is the "C" belt. Have you tried calling Dayco? They can probably give you a part number.

Count the number of ribs on your belt. Then go to Auto Zone and buy one of each belt listed for the Fit with that number of ribs. Take it home and install the one that fits and return the other unused ones. You also already have one that is too large. Measure it so you know what size does not fit and make sure you only buy smaller sizes.

I just remembered you are in Canada. There probably is no Auto Zone there but go some other auto parts place and do the same thing. They all should take back any unused belts with no problem.

Can you read the part number off of the old belt?
