2008 fit sport won't start after filling up?
 

Hi, im new to this site. I am the proud owner of a 2008 Honda fit sport that I bought brand spanking new. It has 123k miles on it now! I have changed the coil packs, put it new iridium plugs within the last 10k miles or so. I just noticed the flapper lid on the filler neck is gone? Now just a hole? Maybe it fell off? Maybe aliens abducted it for the precious metals in it? Perhaps jimmy hoffa knows its whereabouts? Any regards, the last 2 times I filled up (from the.gas light being on) my lil fit wont start. I have to pump the gas pedal while trying to start it to get it going. Now it only does it just the first time after fill up. Generally at a seedy gas station. Any ideas what this gremlin might be? By the way I use speedway gas or shell fuel. I wonder if its putins fault?
