How to access transmission range switch

Hi, I think something is wrong with my transmission range switch (also called position sensor assembly Part number 28900-RPC-003, 28900-RPC-013) on my 2008 honda fit sport. Does anyone know how to access this? i tried looking from underneath but couldn't see it. I think it might be under the air filter box, but I'm not sure how to remove it. Any suggestions? thanks!

Sorry, no clue, but did you try searching an online parts fiche to see if that sheds any light? YouTube how-to vids?

Remove left front wheel
Remove engine splash shield
On the exposed transmission side near serial number label locate and remove black plastic cover(2 10mm headed screws)

the black plastic sector like item under this cover is a neutral safety switch.
(the slot of the round shifting shaft must align with the rib on the switch body)
In many cases CANNOT shift out of park/ cannot remove key condition caused by stretched transmission range cable (in this case the P letter will not light on the Tachometer display even though the lever is indeed in park)
