Car sag, rough ride....help.
Im having a problem with the front driver side. Is been acting really weird. I change The front struts, rubber boots, spring. Car has still has sag, the rough ride did improve but still there. Also there is a hissing sound.
I inspected the control arm for bend or broken nothing wrong....End links and all is fine. Could be the Control arm bushings? what else could be causing the hissing and the sag? Thanks.

Sounds like you have a very large cat laying on that side. And, it's MAD!

In all seriousness, what year is the Fit, how many miles, and does it have any rust?
I ask because there were some GD owners that reported shock tower separation where welds were failing under the cowl. They were all Northern cars driving on poor roads if I remember correctly.

35K miles is not a lot so the suspension should not be worn out really. Did you just get the car the ride might be normal and you are not used to it?
As for the hissing you will need to try and replicate and try to find its source.
Does it only make the noise while moving?
Does it get louder with speed or engine RPM?
If the car is in neutral can you hear it?

The noise started a year ago, I started progressive. I sounded like a wheel bearing, I went to the dealer for inspection, They put a stereoscope one it nothing wrong. I started to think that i left the car unattended for too long, that i should had replaced the shock sooner, that the Lower control arm bearings could be damaged. I cant think of anything else that might be causing the sag.
