jdm yellow fog lights
i was wondering what is better spraying the yellow on to the fog lights or using the yellow film. I know the spray paint will be easier but what is best.
|
Get yellow bulbs. The paint and film will eventually start turning black in the middle, plus the Yellow bulbs actually let out yellow light while the film/paint let out a faint/pale yellow light.
|
I went with the film because it will also protect the lens from damage.
|
yeah i went w/ the film also. I actually did a whole writeup on how 2 install it so the film doesn't burn in the center like jamesbizzle said.
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...s-answers.html Hope it helps. BTW u gonna come 2 the meet 2nite?! https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/cali...tml#post158534 |
I did the yellow bulbs. Way brighter than putting in film and the color was more solid. My friend did hers with the film, and I put our cars together and it was way lighter colored, more dispersed light, and wasn't as bright...
And it was only a 5 minute install: Pull out the 2 clips from the fender liner, bend the liner back, stick hand in behind fog light and remove bulb... put in yellow bulb, snap connector back on, and snap clips back onto liner... all I used was a flat head screwdriver to unclip the 2 clips. It wasn't until afterwards that I was looking through the manual that it said to unscrew the screw beside the fog light in the front and the assembly can be taken out... should be even faster/easier... suckered And those bulbs only cost 30 bux... (originally 65 on sale) http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/b...IMG_2211-1.jpg |
