Install location for Boost Gauges! Let's See Em!

Whether you are going Turbo or S/C, I am interested in where to place a boost gauge (either digital or analog or both) in the Fit. If you have pics, specs and any other feedback about doing this, it would be appreciated!

Those gauge pods fit perfectly on top of the center vents, they look almost OEM. A bit pricey but worth it IMO. I'll try and snap a few pictures of sumo's gauges now that he's Turbo.

Leonine, show them where u put yours :D
sry to call u out like that ;)

Over the top of the vents works fine. No problems with blocked vision as they are low enough that you look right over them and the are not in the way looking out the windshield.

yea ill get smatts to take some pics of my interior when we meet on friday. I have 3 gauges mounted above the center vents, and the boost gauge mounted right in front of my speedo.

FitSport2007_5spd Mar 24, 2008 11:02 PM

Hey guys, did you get a chance to take any pics?

sumo Mar 24, 2008 11:03 PM

Thanks!
So what are your four gauges, make, model etc. - of course really interested in the boost gauge.

sumo Mar 24, 2008 11:10 PM

the 3 that i have in my gauge pod are oil pressure, oil temp, and water temp. the blue gauge in front of my speedo is the boost gauge.

These 3 gauges are K's gauges from AJR.

Where did you get the gauge pod that you used to mount the 3 gauges above the vents?...that looks really nice. Who manufactures that?

REXXXXXXXXX Mar 25, 2008 08:41 AM

He probably got AJR's gauge pod. It goes for about 250 i believe. A bit pricey but the only one available as far as i know... Thanks for the pic! I'm going to go with this gauge pod and a double din touch screen...

Holds three 2 1/16" or 52mm gauges. as said b4 its about 250 shipped...

sumo Mar 25, 2008 10:43 AM

actually i think they are 60mm gauges but i will confirm that later.
anyways this gauge pod is held on by double sided tape, but requires drilling into the dash to run wires.sensors etc.

mugen also makes a similar gauge pod. but its quite more expensive lol
