Illusive: thanks for the offer buddy, but i'm rocking an a/t. i know it CAN be done, but it doesn't seem like the results are anything to write home about.

Mr ET: i understand your frustration man, but i don't think that oscar was out to get you or being insulting.

personally, i know i have buddies who can tackle this with me, but when it comes down to it, i'm just taking it to either a good shop or authorized installer, just for my own peace of mind.

i don't think he was doubting your installation prowress!

Mr_ET: I wasn't attacking you. I apologize if I have upset you.

The injector upgrades were taken back from most all customers. KraftWerks was offering a full refund, even on this used product. The SuperCard is definitely not at fault here either. It is the injectors tipping over the +20% fuel trim in the ECU. Our kit was used at 10,000ft with the injector upgrade with no ill effects. The question our R&D team has been working is why the 205cc injectors worked great under development and never showed over 20% on our scan tool, but caused CELs in the field on your cars.

I still do not understand the belt rubbing issue. All of the brackets and tensioners sent out are the same. This really confuses me.

I understand "Don't blame the installer," but if the installer does not convey the information to us, we have nothing to go off of further. We, the manufacturer, need to have photo documentation of issues sent to us at the support email line. And we will solve any issues case by case. That way we can solve the problem and issue any updates, if need be, to the kit owners. Also, that allows us as a company to make sure the right information is given to our customers. We have had a few "issues" that turned out to be installer errors.

The problem sometimes is the wrong information is said on a forum. You can email sales @ kraftwerksusa.com for kit information or give us a call 8AM-5PM PST Monday through Friday. We are extremely busy and if the phone lines get full, leave a message with us. We will be sure to get back to you.

I hope you understand Mr_ET, and the rest of the Fit Owners around North America. All love for the Fit here. As stated previously, a lot of time and effort is being put forth by us right now to make improvements for even better all around performance.

I can appreciate that and will probably be installing the HONDATA upgrade on Illusive's car as soon as it becomes available so you still have our support Oscar.

We will also be taking some pictures of the issues we have faced and I plan on sending you this documentation so it can hopefully help resolve some issues going forward.

Since the filter rubbing on the A/C tab seems to be an issue for others as well, what would you recommend, a smaller filter? That A/C line is quite large in diameter and close to the firewall so it would be fairly difficult to bend and even harder to get the tab to twist downward a bit without taking the chance of breaking it and it's pressurized system.

We should also have some dyno numbers on a mustang dyno at our elevation of what the kit can do on his car vs my stock one in a few weeks from now if we can get the Hondata upgrade in time.

Has anyone yet touched on the subject of the k20 swap? I want to swap in a k20 series as well as a rotrex. How will that work out? I remember seeing an article in superstreet, or import tuner about the k20 swap and them mentioning plenty of room for a turbo application.

Will the k20 kits work from you or will a custom kit have to be made? I'm also buying a second generation (2009).

No, I mean the relation of the Rotrex Supercharger, And the k20 swapped into the Fit.

By Rotrex I mean Kraft Werks, I.E. Jackson Racing.

I think I just answered my question realizing not too many people are going to be swapping hearts. It would be nice to see a "throw on" setup for a k20 swap into a Fit though.

Holy Bold ... I tamed it down for the quote

This setup is only for the L15 engine, you cannot use the Rotrex from this setup with the K20 unless you hack it to pieces and custom build it in somehow. Considering the tight fitment with the L15 I would be skeptical you can get it to fit with the larger K20.

I doubt you will ever see a production supercharger for a K20 swap. But if you can get a K20 in there all on your own, then I see no reason you can't spec out what you need and build a custom setup yourself.

I am still interested in the supercharger for the auto and the whole set up. As of right now I plan on getting it all by next summer if it is all available. I am waiting until then so I can save up money and also so I can see if people are having any issues with the high boost and hondata etc...

I'm still a lock for the AT kit and any available upgrade path that KW will offer. My car is "maxed out as far as I can go" with current available bolt-ons. I want that little bit extra I'm hoping the KraftWerks/Rotrex will provide...

i dunno when i'll be getting it, but i'm still excited and anxious to hear peoples experiences.

it sounds mean, even though i don't mean it to be, but i can't wait to see how it works when someone takes it to a pro shop to get it installed and see if they are still running into issues.

Kraft Werks has a k20 supercharger kit meant specifically for that motor. I was wondering if that same kit just might fit, or if the piping would need to be modified.

The K20 Race kit is made for K series. It is essentially a "You tune" kit with all piping needeing to be fabbed up and engine management solution. K20 alone in there is pretty cramped... i dont even know if theres room for the SC in it.

There is a supercharged k20 Fit on youtube -- he had to cut away some of the radiator support to make it all fit. I can't remember if it was twin screw type or what -- but it was in the front and fairly large. I can't dig up the video at the moment at work. (yeah, it's orange.)

It's orange and he's on Fitfreak.

It is also the Fit that was used for the hybrid how to K20 swap into a fit article that Sport Compact Car did a while back.

supercard is KA-PUT

my superard failed today on my way home. somehow water got in throught the cracks i think that is what might have caused it. no gaps in the hood and the supercard is mounted exectly where it said to mount it in the install manual. i was driving home in an awful storm. rain coming down in buckets. all of a sudden i noticed in open loop that my air/fuel ratio was climbing as high as 16+ so i backed off immediately. thank goodness i bought an a/f gauge or my engine would propably be all f'd up by now.

So when i got home and popped the hood i saw a little water on the fuse box and on the supercard. where the vacuum line is on the supercard there is a huge gap all around. when i got the kit i noticed this and put some caulk lightly around the gap but it came loose after a while. so i am guessing that water got in through that gap and possibly shorted it out.

This probably could have been prevented if the unit was sealed better where the vacuum line enters the supercard.

so add that to the list of things to fix. i hope that after the rain stops and it dries out that it might start to work again. If not then i am screwed for now

yeah let's hope so. If it is fried because of this then anything less than a brand new one shipped to my door is unacceptable imo.

The rain hear has been unbelievable (as you know). it rained for 20 minutes on wednesday and the water level increased 3 inches. that is exactly what it was like today driving home. and the whole time i was sitting in traffic because noone was going anywhere. you couldn't see.
