Sadly the unichip is not yet offered in the USDM. However, when I search the majority of the applications for Honda, you get "This application is curently only available as a custom hard-wired installation. Please contact your local Unichip dealer for details.

http://www.unichip.us/unichip_home.asp

mightyjazz: would you happen to have a part number for your specific unit? Did yours require hardwiring? Am I also correct in assuming the unichip is only capable of controlling Airfuel and there are no provisions for VTEC engagement, ignition timing and redline?

RagingAngel, I'll check with my mechanic who installed the Unichip and get back to you with the info you require.. But as long as I can remember, the Unichip controls and adjusts AFR, Ignition timing and CO.

Mighty Jazz do you have the part number for your stock ecm? I know eventualy we can rely on hondata to come out with something here but I would love to be able to get a cheap plug and play as soon as I get the car.

No offense, but without knowing the correction factor and without a baseline plot, this dyno sheet doesn't really tell a whole lot.

I stand by my assertion that a claimed +15WHP gain from a motor that makes less than 100WHP is wishful thinking, that figure would be hard to attain even with internal mods.

JDMJunkie, Yes.. I plan to install Spoon N-1 Muffler, have the resonator adjusted and another dyno test afterward... will get back to this forum with the latest dyno result, with a baseline comparison.

Hey Mighty Jazz, any updates on your ride? How's the idling during heavy traffic? Any idling problems during hot humid days? I'm considering getting one for my ride, kinda worried about drivability.

that figure wouldnt be hard to obtain with internal mods...you could probably get that with porting and polishing everything with h/i/e/pulley...and if not, a new cam setup itself will net more than 15WHP.
