Time 2 Upgrade: J's Racing 304R vs. Noblesse
1 Attachment(s)
I've decided to upgrade my exhaust system. Here are my two choices:
J's Racing 304R (SUS304) Attachment 62331 http://carview-img02.bmcdn.jp/minkar...2179522/p1.jpg YouTube - J's 304R + silencer (Fit GE) - w/silencer mounted Just added - no silencer! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3eZHUoIZ_6g Weight savings vs. titanium is .8 kg. which is almost negligible. My other choice is the Noblesse exhaust. This is also SUS304 and will be a special direct order from Noblesse. http://www.club-miniban.com/new_m_fit%20024.jpg http://www.club-miniban.com/FitSP%20042-11m.jpg http://www.club-miniban.com/Fitp2.jpg YouTube - Fit/Jazz in Suzuka Circuit by the outside I don't have any specs on this exhaust. The Noblesse guys are hard to get a hold of. The difference between the 304R and 50R is .8 kg. and the titanium version has a slight higher pitch sound. Other than that, they are almost the same except for the price. I'm leaning toward the 304R because the Noblesse is about 67,200 Yen. That's alot just for SUS304 material. The 304R also includes a silencer. I'm curious as to its performance and sound quality. I'll be the first to test this for you guys in the States. Retail is $425. I am taking pre-orders. http://www.jsracing.co.jp/js3/gal/Wr...D3%2FGD3%2Ejpg |

I have one. You'll want it too. |
is there any loss of torgue or hp with these too exhausts?
|
noblesse has an interesting design. the pipe after the canister is much shorter.
if you want max performance, get the j's racing exhaust if you want looks and one of a kind exhaust in the U.S, get noblesse. |

The Noblesse GD demo car (yellow) was considered the fastest Fit in Japan for a long time, even beat J's Racing's GD, but it got totalled a while back. The Racing muffler comes in two forms -- circuit and street. Both look the same, but the sound is toned down on the street type to meet inspection and also not to be annoying to local residents. I'm sure performance drops somewhat due to the extra sound dampening, but probably still quite good. The circuit type is LOUD, probably moreso than the J's even, and in Japan at least, you have to give a copy of your circuit license to Noblesse to prove that you're going to use it on the track only. Whether they care about that or not outside of Japan I have no idea, I would just ask if they'll sell it and leave it at that. For the record, I have the J's 50RR, but have been following the Noblesse ever since it was being prototyped. I'd try the Noblesse circuit type myself if I were looking for a muffler nowadays as it's proven itself in regular racing and has a pretty regular history of track use. |
Noblesse Exhaust Tail A Hafusuten FTMFW!!!!!
