Fit 1\4 mile times...

I went to the local dragstrip today and i wondered what are your quarter mile times, with what mods and auto or stick!

I start!!

2008 AT Fit
Stock Power wise!

-19.2 Sec at 71.35 Mph on a sunny Day with 30+°C temp... (Warm Engine!)
-20.2 Sec at 67.90 Mph on the same sunny day with a 150 pounds passenger inside! (Hot Engine!)
-18.7 Sec at 71.20 Mph at night with 20+°C temp with Brake Fluid trap and airbox removed! (Warm engine!)

Removing the filter and top of the air box did reduce 60ft times by an average of .1 - .2 sec but the car also had more top end as the trap speed increased by 1 or 2 Mph!

Marko!!

That is considerably better than a 66 VW Beetle that I saw win its class and a trophy in 1966..... It really is not a bad E.T. and trap speed for the engine displacement, considering how outrageously heavy the Fits are compared to older cars with the same displacement.

That's for sure... I was thinking about it last night and considering the large drop without the passenger in, i think i could have done low 18 to high 17 if i didn't have my rear seats, spare tire and a full tank of fuel... But it doesn't matter as i wanted to see what times a stock AT Fit could do! Anyway, i still got beat by a friends 94 Mazda 323 with a air filter so dirty we could'nt even see through it...

...by a full second!! Weight does matter, and for engines that small it does matter even more!!!

Marko!!

Why would you want to compare cars with performance modifications to a stock Fit with automatic transmission?.... What is the point other than, (fill in the space)...............?

You are not conforming to the rules of this website and break the rules of etiquette on a regular basis..... Do you need attention so badly that you are willing to behave badly to get it?

Wow....just wow. Weird conversation going on.

Anywho...
I ran once in my car and had bad clutch slippage. (slipped both in 2nd and 3rd)
15.503 @ 93.37mph

Haven't gone since.

Nah, I really think I could hit low 14's like cake. Clutch slippage loses a lot of time.
