Lets talk abour A/F ratio

What are you guys running for you A/F ratios at:
  1. idle
  2. light boost
  3. full boost

dewthedew 10-18-2009 08:00 AM

13-15.x idle
10-17partial throttle
13 light boost
12.9 wot and now 11/10 in 3rd between 5-6500

I need a tune!I'll post after tune numbers lol

Your AF ratio should depend on manifold pressure more than anything else. The fit uses a wideband, and the FIC can control it very well, so your AF ratios should be dead nuts as follows:

Idle / cruising (anything below 5-7" of vacuum) - 14.7-15.0 (I have mine running 15.0 for a hair better gas mileage)
Transition to boost (anything between 5" and 0) - AFR should smoothly ramp down to ~13 - 13.5 at 0 vacuum
In boost (anything above 1psi) - you should be running in the low to mid 12's.

Ignition is another story, I'm running a .68 degree/lb of boost step retard, with additional timing pulled in low RPM boost as this area tends to be a tricky one.
