Ok, I'm going to try something odd...(exhaust)

I have a friend who recently sold his RSX-S and bought a brand new Civic SI. He also happens to have a very very low mileage RSX-S muffler sitting in storage.

I have a Honda Fit sport, I want an exhaust that's more appealing to look at and listen to.
I was trying to get an Ep3 muffler and have it put on in place of my factory muffler. Becasue A) it's genuine Honda and B) it looks better and may give off a different exhaust note. Being a muffler designer for a larger mutor I don't feel I'll have any problem with flow rate or increased backpressure.

SO LONG STORY SHORT
He has offered me (4 free!!) His essentially new Type S exhaust.
I was doing some measureing and it looks like it will fit.

What do you think guys? I like the idea of staying OEM..and I won't have to worry about it rusting and falling apart...should I go ahead and do it then post pictures?

why not. give it a try since it's free anyways and it might improve your fit alittle since its still OEM better than our stock ones.i'm thinking of getting a twin loop exhaust soon too so my fit can be more responsive.i already have the FUJITA CAI for a couple months now and it's a great product.just luving it.more responsive at 4k+rpm.

How much louder is your intake than stock? I want to hear one before I put down the money...I rode in a New Civic SI with an AEM CAI and it sounded GREAT...I hope the Fit does to!

DO IT! It's free, you can't go wrong with that :D

was going to do the same with a EP muffler but haven't pick it up yet, how much bigger is the Type-S than EP? seems to me that the S is too big for Fit, do you have any measurement between the 2?

it does sound extremelly well considering its a small engine.its much louder than stock you'll hear it 4sure even w/windows up.to me sounds more like a roar:D enjoy it every single time and the best part is once you get use to it,it'll be easier for you to know when the shift definitly a plus.i've used to look at the gauge b4 shifting now i don't need to.
