Phase 2: GD3 Turbo Build

Planning ahead, as I like to do, I'll be picking a spare L15A sometime next year (April/May most likely) and building that up on the side.

Parts I'll be looking at include the following:

-LSD, need input on which brand to choose please...Going for a gear type instead of the clutch type.

-Rods, Pauter? K1? What else is available? Been out of the scene for a bit:o

-Pistons, I'm thinking CP or Wiseco.

-Bearings, Clevite or ACL?

-Head studs, bolts, etc. ARP?

-Head gasket, OEM.

-Cam? Only thing I've seen is Bisimoto and JUN...

-Valve springs and retainers? Bisimoto again I'm guessing?

-Port and polish

-Cryo treatment on the camshaft.

-New intercooler (different size and core type)

Sticking with the TD04L and upping the boost:vtec: Might change the turbo then but I'd like to see how far the TD04 can go. At this point I may have to look at running a full standalone system, probably gonna go with AEM.

If I've left anything out please let me know, just thinking off the top of my head here.

PS, current set up:

RDX 410cc injectors
AEM water/meth
AEM FI/C
Walbro 255l/ph
Log manifold (ceramic coated)
TD04L + turbo blanket
63mm stainless exhaust (1box), cat delete/down pipe.

Search Results : Bisimoto Engineering, Where Efficiency Meets Technological Perfection

Bishi has a bunch of stuff when you search L15A..

I want to grab a second L15A to build :noes:

Budget, goal and power considerations in place this is what my shopping list looks like:

-Kaaz LSD 1.5 way Super-Q
-K1 Rods
-CP pistons (coated)
-Clevite bearings (rod and mains + treatment)
-Innovate Street Spec Engine Mounts
-AEM Series-2 engine management
-Velocity stack
-Consumables (gaskets, oil, filters, etc.)

Aiming for 12psi/0.8bar boost on the TD04, stock sleeves should be up to task, expecting anywhere from 160-200wkw/218-272whp.
