L13 to L15 swap
 
Has anyone done a L13 to L15 swap?? If so I have some questions

Hmm.. Not seen anyone on here do one. Guessing at least ECU and Harness will be a challenge...

OP are you doing this to look for more power?

Just want a little upgrade from my 1.3 to 1.5, it's all good if noone has done it probs won't even do it anyways, it'll b a waste

I think they may be the same engine. The bore is the same but the strokes are different so you might be able to get away with changing internals/ecu instead of the whole engine.

The 1.3 has the i-DSI head. It's a 8 valve twin spark plug per cylinder head designed for cleaner emissions and maximum fuel economy with an emphasis on power in the low to mid end. Torque peaks at like 2700rpm

There is a 1.5 i-DSI out there somewhere, but I think the OP is looking to switch to the 1.5 L15A VTEC engine like we all received in the North American market. At the VERY least, it would be a head swap (this would include intake/exhaust manifolds), ECU and harness....

Parts are most likely out there, and they are beginning to get cheap here in the US...

Tyler is correct, this is not a simple or cheap undertaking. You would be better off turbocharging the 1.3 for the time/cost.

I did the swap from L13a to L15a vtec,also change to l15a wire loom and ECU. Now Car hunts from aroud 1500rpm to 2800rpm.tranny sport mode also not working.

Finally get the sport mode to work. Using the L15a wire loom with L13a ECU ,am also planning on using aem f/ic 6 to tune the engine.

What did you do with the wirings? Specially to the dashboard wiring goin to the engine? Thanks!
