cheap throttle body upgrade, from 50mm(stock) to 55mm for gd3 01-07 fit
2006-2011 honda civic base model r18 motor's throttle body is a direct bolt on and seals on the same rubber gasket seal , can be easily found at a local wrecker for within $25-$50 , i have a crz and adapted it to my intake manifold through a different means , but i thought i'd share this with the gd3 owners out there
the coolant fitting angles on the throttle body can be altered with a propane torch and a deep crescent wrench to the desired angle in order to fit your stock coolant hoses
here are links : for the manifold pic : of the r18

Nice to see a review on this actually. But actually if you have a crz and the ge8 and the crz have the same intake manifold and throttle body I believe.
Can you take a picture of the R18 installed? I've been wanting to see pictures.

the r18 throttle body is a direct bolt on for a gd3 , but for a ge8 and a crz you need to make an adapter plate
also you may need to change the angles of the coolant fittings with a propane torch and a crescent wrench to the correct angle for your application
