Well, we're mid-way through August and no release yet...wonder what the hold-up is?

Refering to the supercharger setup to achieve this power, is this with a aftermarket header and exhaust? Also do you need injectors and a fuel pump? Lastly, is this with 87 octane or with 91/93 octane? How would it do if you were to run 110 race gas?

Those charts aren't for Stage 1 -- mislabeled

You only need to raise the octane if your engine is knocking, or the computer is retarding the timing to avoid knocking (in reference to the 110 octane race gas question).

if you run the SC you have to run 91 at least.

after reading the last 3 or 4 pages, it seems like the same questions keep popping up; and even though it doesnt seem to be buggin you, it irritating the crap outta me!!

just a suggestion for ya... put all the relevant info (hp output, mods, dyno sheets, prices, release dates, etc) in an edit of your 1st post. i know you may not have all the relevant info yet, but just keep it updated there, so this thread doesnt get so backlogged with the same questions popping up every page.

just to say again, this is all a suggestion, ya know? what i would do in a situation like this...

anyways, carry on!! cant wait for the final word on this!!

The only thing irritating for me is when word of this supercharger came out back around Sept. 2006 - I had cash in hand ready to go and immediately threw my name down on the pre-order list thinking it would be out shortly.

Since then we haven't heard much if anything from the guys at JR. Jackson Racing's website - same old stuff, no updates. Jackson Racing's MySpace - nothing there either. If there is one thing you guys are good at, you guys are GREAT at being Top Secret, Hush-Hush, "loose lips sink ships", when it comes to info.

In fact the only reliable source of info has been from JDMChris...thank you very very much! It must be nice to be riding around with one of those SC's in your car.

I just don't understand what the hold up is. Apparently JDMChris' ride is tweaked and running fine but how about hooking up the rest of us out there?

Oh and about that cash I had? Well it's long been spent on other things
I honestly don't think I'll be one of the first guys jumping on this anymore once it's finally introduced for the automatic Fit's.

If the other guys start raving about it maybe I'll break out that credit ooops I mean "regret it" card and jump on the bandwagon again....

Yeah that is fine, I know that but I didn't know if it worked like my STi did where if I added race gas to my setup I would gain a good 30whp just off of the fuel and a little more boost. I also had methanol injection too so that could have helped out as well. Hey.........that is a good idea, I think I am going to run meth with my setup on the fit. Hey why not, it worth a try right?

lol sounds like you're the expert around here! Yeah, I guess it depends on whether the vehicle's computer tries to find the upper limit of timing and boost or not. I doubt our little bolt on system here is anywhere near that fancy.

I'm still mentally arguing with myself over the JRSC if it is ever available. Maybe my gf will snap up the Fit and I'll get another car, or maybe I'll keep the Fit, and we'll snap up a Yaris or used Corolla/Civic or something. Sigh...

gona be running straight 100% methanol? the Honda engines arent meant to run such a high concentrated form of meth on stock internals/lines/etc. for best results, use 51% water/49% meth.

water/meth injection is definitely a good and cheap alternative to race gas. i'm implementing on my RSX. I'm trying to book an appt to get it tuned this week or next.

That was the boost that made the 30 more hp. Not the race gas. The race gas just prevented detonation at higher boost levels. Plus, there is no "upping the boost" with the JRSC. It is either 5lb or 10lb. No in between.

And yes...I wish these guys would come out with it. But oh well.

hey jdmchris, could you up the boost on your 5psi kit with a new pulley? will JR offer a replacement pulley with tuning to the 5psi kit (so it can essentially remain carb exempt) but get a little more juice out of it.

btw do you have any inside info about whats going on over there?

thanks man!

If you go 10psi you need to upgrade the fuel side and that's what makes the kit not carb exempt.
