Hello guys

I live in Argentina and i have and honda fit MT 2005 L15A1 engine (110 hp)

Actually my fit has lowered suspension and a megan racing header with all stainless steel cat back with 1 muffler.

With all this mods my fit goes a top speed in the highway of 190 km per hour by gps.

I bought a cat cam stage 1
model 2503001
259°/255° - 210°/208° - 10.10mm/9.70mm - 0.75mm/0.70mm
with this camshaft the maker said i will increase horsepower in about 15hp plus.
And dont need ecu tune

Question in top speed i can run lean if i put this combo (with not ecu tune)

exhaust header + camshaft + k&n thypoon short ram air intake.???

I whant to reach 195- 200 km by gps top speed.

A tune is always a good idea, interested in seeing your results

IMO there is enough fuel, The Fit has bigger injectors. The problem is not running lean but having knock which is worse. You can add a fuel pressure regulator too which will make sure there is enough fuel for the added fuel to reduce knock when the ecu tries to retard the timing.

AFAIK, the Fit has a return less fuel system and adding a FPR is not an option. The best way is to convert to a return system or add a piggyback or the best option is hondata, or whatever standalone ecumenical is available in your country. But if the manufacturer says it will drop in, maybe you won't run into problems. I would take it to a dynotune and tune it to take full advantage of the benefits. A adjustable cam gear is now available through JK motorsports too! It's $375 usd.
