Hey Sol, it's been awhile, nice to hear from you. I appreciate the response - can you also say that you didn't perceive any change in fuel mileage or acceleration? I guess given the design of the device and the small amount of overall horsepower we're working with, it wouldn't surprise me if it actually doesn't rob any power. So was there any advantage to doing it? If not, I'm just going to replace my cat, which is throwing a code, with a Magnaflow and leave it at that.

There wasn't any difference in performance or power or mileage.

I removed mine since it had a huge dent and i had an exhaust leak

So here's an aside...when I owned my Porsche ('87 Carrera 3.2) I used only Chevron Supreme 90 per the Porsche experts. My local station pumped the real thing until the owner started f-ing around and years later his shitty gas would cause my vehicles to throw Cat codes. I switched to Fred Meyer (Kroger) gas and got my grocery purchase discounts. The Fit threw a Cat code this fall, and since the Chevron station got a new owner I thought I'd try the Supreme 90 again. Since then the check engine light went off all by itself again. So there may be nothing I have to do to my exhaust system, we'll see. I adjust the valves and replace the 02 sensors and plugs around every 70K miles and the engine (186K) runs magnificently, none of that "coil pack" stuff. I found in the Fit and my '99 Dakota 5.2 that the latest Denso TT Iridium plugs make a discernable difference in sweet clean running. At any rate, Happy Solstice and have many happy miles in '17.
