Hello Everyone:

I have a USDM 2005 Accord EX 4-Dr Sedan 2.4L, and want to change my stock grill to a mesh one without the honda logo (I prefer black mesh but only found chrome).

The one I desperately want has been sold out on carID, and now, the only ones I seem to find on Amazon/eBay say that "Minor modification may be needed for US models." So, I asked many sellers what modifications are specificially needed, and they dont know.

Does ANYONE know what specific modication(s) I need to make in order for this JDM mesh grill to work on my USDM Accord. I attached the ebay listing below.... ANY help is seriously appreciated.....

This is a Honda Fit forum.

Also the 2005 Accord for the US market, afaik was not sold in Japan...so there wouldn't be a JDM grill for it

 

It was sold as the Inspire overseas.

Still puzzled on why this person came here for some input...

 

I came here for input because (1) I couldnt find the 05 USDM honda accord forums discussing JDM to USDM mesh grills, (2) this was the only honda forum discussing this very topic I need help with, and (3) I thought maybe, JUST MAYBE, there would be a decent human being who could help....
