J's Racing Grille Vs. OEM Grille
This has been a choice that I am having hard time to make. Either go with the J's Grille. Or just stick to my OEM grille and slap on the red "H" emblem for the front and also the back and call it a day. I drive an NHBP Fit. Which one should I go for? Some suggestions would be great. Correct me guys, if I am wrong. The Fit uses EP3 emblem for the front and DC5 (RSX) for the rear. Is this correct? Thanks Fitfreak.

How much is it? $310? I'd say keep the stock grill red emblems.

Depending on how much you can/want to spend.
Getting the grille (real or fake) will be more expensive and it have to be painted. Sticking with the oe grille and red emblems will be way cheaper. Just hope no one steal them :D |
j's grille is straight up sex on nhbp
please get the j's. and i hear the replica fits very well. |
++ for the j's grille. red H's look good, but i'm personally done with that look.
it's my birthday so i'm buying myself something nice; debating on the j's grill/lip combo + trunk garnish + sidemarkers or skumk 2 coilovers :) |
ohh yeah mugen style trunk garnish ftmfw
|
I love my grille. Even if it cost a leg, arm, and some fingers.

I have NHBP... I just painted by emblems flat black, front and back... and it looks looks nice. Didn't want to do the red H... 300+ for a grill is a bit high, even if its awesome... which it is.

is it 300 for the replica, or for the actual j's?

personally, the knock offs will work for me. i already stress about door dings and being side-swiped by idiots who don't know how to drive or park their cars. i don't want to add theft to that mix :o |
hahah i bought my j's grille and still havnt put it on yet...been like a month now
lol i bought it and was like "oh SH*T...i dont have money for the next week till pay day" i think im gonna go put it on this weekend |
i vote replicia j racing grill..thats what i want $130 on ebay.but im getin my eyelids first.but +++++ on grill:vtec:
|
is there any big difference between the REAL J's grill and to the replica? rather, than the authencity between the two. is there a grill like mesh behind on the REAL J's grille? i noticed on the replica of J's its just open. thanks guys and i am really leaning towards the J's grille now, when i have enough cash for it.

The real J's grill comes with mesh... you can just buy a piece of mesh and cut it and glue it behind the rep grill though. The real J's grill also has hooks at the back of the grill to hold the mesh on.

I dunno about the rep grill, I actually have the real one, and I did put the mesh behind the grill. But I think with the rep one you can probably add drops of glue around the edge of the mesh to hold it onto the inside of the grill? I'm not sure what glue to use, but it might be something a body shop might have? I just remember having some other grill for another car and the mesh was held on the inside with some sort of glue. Also, the mesh doesn't move around much as it gets pinned in between the grill and the bumper support piece or something that's right behind the badge of the stock grill.
