YOUR (car's) NAME IN LIGHTS------

Something to read for the person behind you at the stop light. IDENTIFY--BRAG--MAKE A STATEMENT.

This is a plug for Tim at www.tfbdesigns.com. He has a LOT of decorative graphics/decals that he makes for the Honda Fit. Below are photos of two designs of THIRD BRAKE LIGHT masks/decals. This is an inexpensive ($10.00) way to customize your Fit. Easy to apply, cheap enough to replace if you want something else.

I just had an idea for a custom brake light mask just for the election season. Ask Tim to make a mask with the name of the guy you don't want as President. Every time you put on your brakes, you are saying:

"(STOP) McCain" or "(STOP) Obama"

What? Too subtle?:rotfl: Tim also has templates for "GE8" and "SPORT" in the brake decals, and about 20 other decal designs all for the Honda Fit.

I made the mistake of mounting this decal too high, and it allowed red light to leak along the bottom edge. Temporarily, I used a strip of black vinyl tape along the bottom edge of the decal and trimmed my tape with a razor blade. Then I ordered the GD3 decal as a replacement, shown below.

I mounted the GD3 decal correctly- no light leaks and no added tape necessary.

Also, instead of paying retail and shipping costs for JDM Red badges and risking damage from pulling the old ones off and installing new badges, save a lot of cash and buy red precision-cut inserts. Tim also makes such inserts for the Honda steering wheel emblem, and wheel center caps.

Aaaand, instead of removing your fog light housings, then sanding, then painting, then painting again, then clear coat, then putting the housings back in again, just buy black overlays from TFB, stick 'em on in 30 seconds apiece, and you're done already!

This is one of the rare Fit vendors where you don't have to blow a paycheck to buy something, don't have to pay a mechanic to install the products, don't have to wait months for anything to ship from Asia, and if you decide to change what you bought for something else later, you won't have spent so much you can't justify throwing it away.

The only downside is, you can't sell it used to another member.

Sorry to say, but this has been done before. I've had mine for a while now. Still available to those who see it.

And that's REALLY cool, but it didn't cost only $10.00.
