Wow.
When I purchased my Fit I knew I was compromising on NOT getting a moonroof. I've had them in the past and I love having one. I told myself I'd wait a few years then maybe have one installed. But I feel myself weakening. I really want one and miss one, especially this time of year.
Just I'm so nervous about anyone cutting into my roof, and then potential problems like noise, leaking and structural integrity. The general consensus seems to be that Webasto/Hollandia are great products BUT the moonroof is only as good as the installer.
I've done research around my local area, and without naming names, one place seems to get the most "buzz" BUT the reviews they get are really diverse. With some people saying they do great work, and recommending them whole heartedly, and some people calling them bums and saying they'ed NEVER go back.
That just leaves me worried.
If anyone has direct experience with Installers and Product in Oregon I'd like to hear the review opinion.
If I could feel confident in the installers, I think I'd get one. I'd love to have it for the Pacific NW. Fall....
