Splash Guards???
 

Sorry if this issue has been discussed 1,000 times before, but I just purchased a 2010 Fit Sport on Saturday. The dealer is telling me that splash guards are not an available option on the car. It was my understanding that rear splash guards can be installed. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

they don't fit on the sport model because of the lips, i own a base model with splash guards, so i don't know why the lips prevent splash guard installation... i guess they just use the same fixations... i don't think no one as ever tried modding the flaps to be able to put them on... maybe by using rubber mud flaps, (like subarus) you could put the screws through the flaps then the lip...

Thanks for the reply. The problem is I contacted a Honda dealer in Natick, MA who says they install rear splash guards on the Sport model. I've also seen other locations on the Web that say rear splash guards are a viable option on the Sport. Any Honda techs out there that want to weigh in?

i worked for a honda dealer for many years, the front splash guards WILL NOT fit on a sport, but the rears WILL, the biggest problem is that honda only sell them as a set of four, so if you want just the rears and don't mind wasteing a few bucks then go for it, oh and yes the dealer will tell you it's not an option for the sport!
