Is it worth getting a Carbon Fiber Hood for the FIT?

I'm not saying a cf hood is a waste of money, but money wise, it's so darn expensive proportionally compared to other things, like afore mentioned lighter rims. And I know every bit of weight removed will make a difference, even if an unnoticeable one. I'd like to put one on my Fit but... the spray can speaks louder That's a ghetto idea, but I'll never know until I try

Btw b26cw, which headlight is that you have on yours, looks very nice. Is that a JDM application or can it be put into a USDM Fit?

I have a big f*ckin rock chip thats starting to rust on the edge of my hood. It would be a good investment to get the cf hood and keep the stocker in good condition till you sell it. The car would look brand spankin new since the hood is the first thing you look at most.

I dont have exact weight but from carrying the hood it is SIGNIFICANTLY lighter. I can hold up the hood with my pinky

I don't think you should think about getting a CF hood at all if you think the weight you save is significant. You get a CF hood, mostly fo stylin rather than fo "weight savings" or so called "aerodynamics".

Two reasons to add CF Hood

A CF Hood also adds air to th engine compartment for intakes and they look KILLER all shined up

All weight savings are worthwhile in my opinion and aftermarket hoods which let heat out are definitely worth while.
