thanks man!...just to make things clear,we know that gd's and ge's have diff mountings of side mirror..i have the gd,i was wondering how will i route the wires going through the headlights to tap into the signal light wires?..any suggestions?

 

i don't see anyway to access the wires but to remove my door panels but after that i have no idea where to route wires from the door to engine bay..

 

Like he said. So far I have two mirrors and every thing is working.

 

Door was removed. The wires was tapped to my winker mod, which is connected to the turn signal pigtail wires under the driver side dash fuse panel.

A piece of cake right Jephu. Only took me 3 mornings to wire the winker covers. Mainly because I am old and just too bloody hard on the body twisting and turning. Adding the arrows later was easy as it was all done inside the mirror.

Then later I tool all the panels out again to light up the door handles and do puddle lights on the front doors.

 

thanks for videos, was thinking of doing the winker shells with the led arrow but i want heated mirrors to does anyone know where i can get heated glass preferrably just glass if it doesnt come with the winkers

Well through a winter and no problem with either heated mirrors or turn signals. A nice mod.
