My name is Ethan, I purchased a 2008 Honda Fit GD3 off Craigslist a few days ago. It's a 5 speed manual and came with 164,000 miles. It's my first manual car and so far have really been enjoying the experience of it!
I previously owned a 2017 Honda Civic Sport hatchback for almost 7 years, but it was CVT transmission and I eventually got bored of that. I just recently sold the Civic to my coworker. I had put a lot of work into modifying that car, and moving on from that to a Fit is a change that I am excited about, but I realized quickly it'd be best to get set up on this forum to start doing research what I want to do with the Fit.
My timing just so happened to line up with this weekend and FitFest Northwest 2025 happening in Tacoma, Washington at Griots Garage. It was a great way to check out Fits from every generation, as well as meeting some owners in person to discuss how/why they went about working on their respective cars.
I was also lucky enough to get my first mod completed too, won this shifter knob at the event in a raffle and I immediately swapped out the OEM one.
That about concludes my introduction! I'll be getting some additional accessories this week and will be doing paint correction soon as well to try and clean up the exterior a bit. If you read all of this thank you! Cheers
