I can't help at all on the belly issue. Mid-twenties & a vegan diet have me pretty lean.

haha, yah, i talked to my wife about the issue and she told me to stop taking probiotic for a few days and restart but only take half the dose or every other day. i suppose i dont NEED to take it every day. will see how it goes..

im more of a carnivore diet.. my stomach cant digest veggies real well. i mean i luv salads and non meat stuff but my body does not so i only eat like 1/3 of what my wife and kids eat when it comes to salads and other veggie based proteins, etc..

alright got the new LED bulbs installed on my GTI. had my kid step on the brake pedal so that i could check from the back. looks great.

remembered to do the turn signal bulbs too on the front. now it is all LED like how it shouldve come from the factory since autobahn trim.

with the latest turbo setting i did on the GTI, even at 95F today it was pulling hard. woot! im done modding the car but if i was to do anything else, id get a larger intercooler. GTI is coming up one yr ownership this month.

going to do the reverse mirror dip program today.. forgot to do that yesterday.

i should also work on the ding on the GK.. my right arm is starting to feel better after 3 months of pain. was able to do 13 push-ups without any sharp pain. been increasing the reps day by day.

woot, took no more than 3min to program. now i can have the passenger side mirror dip down when in reverse (or not if mirror adjust joystick is in off position). then it automatically goes back to normal angle after driving off.

not sure why this feature is not programmed on the USDM GTI and R...anyway, very cool.

i wonder if these features are standard on the JDM fits. they pack so much more convenience for their market.

so after my awesome drive in my R, i went to get some fuel. she was about 1/4 tank left on the fuel gauge so i thought id get maybe 10+gal into her since that's about when i usually gas up my GTI and usually get about 10.5gal in there.

as i watched the pump pass 10.5gal fill i was like
as i watched the pump pass 11.5gal fill i was like
as i watched the pump pass 12.0 gal fill i was like

..thinking the gas was going to overfill and spill all over the side of the car, i was about to manually disengage the auto fuel shut-off tab on the nozzle when it auto shut off at about 12.5gal.

i searched the web and found out the GTI has a 13.2 gal tank where as the R has a 14.5 gal tank. i had no idea. haha. cool.

so i get asked a lot how i feel about my german made R vs my mexican made GTI quality.

honestly, my mexican made GTI appears to have higher quality in the details. like paint quality, fit and finish, and just overall care that they put into during assembly.

like even simple things such as placing a simple gasket on the tail lamp before assembly.. the mexican taillamp's gasket is centered and very cleanly mounted. on the contrary, the german one the gaskets are not centered at all and one was even sticking out beyond the lens. i waz like WTF and removed the lamp entirely and re-applied. and this isn't the only thing. there are several other details like this on the german car.. why pay the german premium when mexico can do a better job at a lower price? they SHOULD make the R's in mexico at the same plant.

too bad i cant say the same about the Fits made in mexico vs ones i bought from japan. maybe it's the honda's teir1's that suck in mexico, not sure but VW's from mexico gets a thumbs up from me.
