hey thanks, mike!

i looked at all sorts of hatches the last 3wks and at the end, i found that the FitSport is still the very best bang for the buck. plus, it looks great.

Nice to see you back Ken!

I agree with you on the looks of the MMC GE8 in comparison to the '09 to '11 models, just the subtle changes Honda made are a great improvement. The factory 16 inch Sports for the 12s and 13s (coming pretty soon) are just awesome.

Time flies, it doesn't seem like a year has passed since Ken quit posting.. No one has stayed on top of keeping his cars clean and polished like he does.

guys thanks for remembering me. hahahaha.

huh, you guys like the 12 wheels? im more of a the 09-11 wheels fan. my wife curbed the 09's wheels so i wont be swapping them any time soon. lol

the machined face does look pretty good on the silver. just too flat and narrow for my taste. i think im going to get some 7 spokes and use the stockers for snow.

I've clay barred and waxed my Fit once in 6 years.. I'll do it again when it is put back together.... The car is parked in the barn year round so the paint is still in good shape.

The Paint on the Fit was like sandpaper. Clay bar is the best invention made for paint, it made the paint smooth and a good coat of polish and the car was new again.

Salt up here is hard on the chassis because of beet juice added make it stick to the roads. The same juice makes it hard to clean off the car. Does anyone know how to clean that salt mix off?

hey guys

so yesterday i picked my '12 and took some time to PrimaNero the interior panels to prevent future scuffs, especially the driver door inner panel. also cleaned up the 09's interior as well, washed the car. the pedal position is great vs the 08 i had before. i dont feel like im riding my kids' bikes anymore.

as far as factory dress up stuff, i got the window visor, a/s floor mats, "FIT" door sill thingies, CF trim for switch and meter, leather knob, and some other stuff ordered. i should have them installed by wed/thurs of this week.

i hope to get the rear window tint done real soon... i dont plan on getting the cargo cover as it gets into my way more than helping cover things.

so i think i will go ahead and lower this car... swifts or prokits, not sure. the ride is already soft so i dont think the prokits are going to be much worse initial bump. might even smooth the ride even more.

followed by 17's. not sure which ones but i'd like to get a 7spoke of some sort.

good choice indeed. but i think i might keep the stock ride. the car runs so smooth over bumps especially over expressway bridges and stuff, it might not be worth the hassle for me to lower it and dealing with rubbing, etc.

here's some snaps i took today while picking up dinner at a chinese place.

im really liking this car.

If rubbing and scraping is your turn off you might consider replacing the stock springs with Swift Mach sport springs... They have lots of travel and don't beat you to death like most after market lowering springs do.

Long time no post is right. It's ok though. I still see you on the 370z forum.

yah, i suppose i can give those a try. i dont want to go too low since i need to be able to drive around in deep snow. will be getting snow tires. do i need to cut my bumpstops at all running those springs?
