They may be a dying breed. It's amazing to me how many kids turn 16 now and don't even have an interest in getting a drivers license. There wasn't a kid alive in the 80's that didn't dream of getting a license and spreading their wings.

Here's a question for you guys. What is your right foot placement for driving a MT?

Is your heel in line with the brake and you reach over with your toes to hit the gas?

OR

Is your heel in line with the gas and you reach over with your toes to hit the brake?

Mike410b: Yeah the prints I havent decided on size yet. Smallest I think I'll go is 8x11, and largest I'll go is 16x20. They were some pictures our buddy took when my GF, him and I went night hiking to this abandoned train out in the desert. Came out pretty rad.

Work has been brutal the last few days. Some construction going on outside our building and the workers decided to cut several of our Ethernet lines. So we've been at like dial-up 14.4 speed...its been nuts and very unmotivating.

heel is closer to the brake pedal as i need to hit the brake and turn my foot towards the left to get the side (or heel depending on how much braking) of my right foot to blip the throttle. it’s like a 1-2 process.

my right foot kinda pivots around my toes while on the brake

Answer in bold.

Are the prints getting hung on the wall or set on something?

sorry to hear, mike!

you should travel like me and get all sorts of exposure to crap so your body is immune to all of it. ive not had a flu shot in like 3+ decades. no issue.

back home finally.. yet another crazy day at the office.

had a nice drive in the GTI on the way home. there's one part of my commute where i can open it up real nice so i like to clear some of that condensation out of the midpipe while im there. oh wat fun it is to ride on an open road in the GTI.

so i saw that my stupid village yet again sprinkled a shitload of salt in my community. wtf mang.. it's like 40F right now and no snow in the forecast. so faking stupid. not sure now if i want to pull out my STI.

In the 40's here today. Man the turbo cars LOVE the cold air. The Lincoln feels sooo happy. Would love to see what it could run the quarter in with this cold air. My 12.86 time slip was in South FL in the summer time.

humm... 3300 for a set of CI-R's with 235/35/19 DWS06s.. looks great but heavy. why a 19x8 wheel weights 24.5lbs is a mystery.. well not really, just a low pressure cast dress up wheel with premium price.

id be all over it if <20lbs..

I was under the impression that there was absolutely no interior lighting in my 2013 Fit DX. Not so! I found a single interior light in hatch on the left side of the car that illuminates when you open the hatch

On an off topic note, I came home after two weeks away on business to a slab leak under my water heater. I guess after 25 years that copper pipe just couldn't handle the electrolysis that occurred because it was tied to a piece of rebar. Stupid effing plumbers...

50 here today. Just got back from the touch-less wash. Then I went over the GTI with Hydo & many soft microfiber towels. Damn it's nice to have a clean & shiny car. :-)

My wife's car is another matter. It is a filthy mess & to make matters worse she drove down a road with loads of construction mud all over it. Her car now looks likes she does mud bogging. I may have to use a shovel to clean it off. Darn it anywho!
